This re-imagining of the Electric Mistress allows you to get classic Flange effects, along with new chorus functions and fully independent stereo outputs which allow you to spread the effect across two amps. The Flanger and Chorus functions can be used independently to create a range of either tones, which are controlled by the rate knob. As the Flanger and Chorus have slightly different rates, when combined they make all sorts of lush swirling effects, from gentle psychedelia or a rotating leslie cabinet to all out mind-bending tones. When the rate knob is turned down less that 10 o’clock it engages the ‘Filter Matrix’ mode, which allows you to manually sweep the flanger, making an even wider range of extreme trippy textures.
