Launched in 2002, this is a compact and portable synthesizer/vocoder with 37 keys and 128 rewritable programs. With its small form factor, battery power and virtual analog synthesis, it offered a range of great sounds at an accessible price. The 8-band vocoder allows you to shift your voice to make it sound male, female or like a child, aided by the built-in microphone. The pitch bend wheel, modulation wheel and five other knobs provide flexible real-time control over various parameters such as filter cutoff, attack and release. It is MIDI compatible and can be used as a controller as part of a digital audio workstation.
