Vater started off making drumsticks for other companies in the mid 1950s, and only officially established the Vater brand in 1993. Based in the US, they produce a huge range of sticks, mallets and other stuff to hit stuff with, all to a very high quality. Among Vater artists are Matt Helders from Arctic Monkeys and Bat For Lashes’ Sarah Jones.
