Samick is one of the world’s largest instrument manufacturers. Founded in 1958, it’s a South Korean company that makes its own series of guitars and has also made guitars for other major guitar brands such as Epiphone, Squier, Washburn and Hohner. Samick’s current guitar line is designed by the US luthier Greg Bennett. The company is known for budget price instruments that are made to a good standard, including pianos, string and wind instruments, and it has shares in other companies such as Steinway.
