Casio SK-8

Introduced in the late 1980s, this was one of the first affordable entry-level sampling keyboards. A relative of the Casio SK-1 and Casio SK-5, this is popular for circuit bending. With its four drumpad buttons, and 32 midsize keys, as well as microphone input, and built in speaker, it has a range of control options. The eight preset sounds, and ten rhythms, as well as on-board sampling controls further the horizons of what is possible with this tiny charming synth. They are becoming increasingly rare to find.
