Designed in collaboration with tube-amp guru Reinhold Bogner, this amplifier has the feel of a boutique amp, with essentially four different models combined into one unit. At either 25watts (Class AB) or 10 Watts (Class A), it packs enough of a punch to play at gigs, and with a low volume mode, it can get cranked up tube tone without even disturbing people in the next room. The four different amp voicings are, Classic American Clean, British Crunch, Class A Chime and Modern High-Gain, and with them you can customize your tone from a classic vintage to a very modern sound. Combined with the true analog circuitry is Line 6’s modeling technology, that fuels each voicing’s preamp and tone stack, allowing such flexibility of tone. The amp can be paired with the L6 LINK POD line of pedals, for additional control and effects. The two-channel setup means that whatever voicing you are in, you can jump to a different one with the added footswitch. The combo has one twelve-inch Celestion speaker, whilst the head version has 4, 8 and 16 ohm speaker outputs. This is a nice pairing of up-to-date digital technology and classic analog engineering, and can provide a large tonal palette to play with.
